Helping children meet Jesus and grow to love Him

Helping children meet Jesus and grow to love Him

Kids Ministry is where our youngest members — from nursery age through to the end of primary school — discover that they are known and loved by God. Every session is safe, welcoming and full of energy, with Bible stories, worship, games, crafts and prayer pitched just right for each age group.

Our Heart

A firm foundation for life

We want every child to leave knowing three things: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus is their friend forever. Our team teaches the Bible in a way children can understand and remember, and we work alongside parents so that faith grows at home as well as on a Sunday. All of our leaders are DBS-checked and trained in our safeguarding policy.

What We Do

What a Sunday looks like

Children are cared for in groups broadly split by school year, so the teaching, activities and play all fit where they are. Babies and toddlers stay with a parent or carer in our supervised space.

Age-appropriate groups

Each term we work through a theme or book of the Bible using stories, drama, memory verses and discussion, helping children build a big-picture understanding of God's story and their place in it.

Bible teaching that sticks

We sing, we pray for one another, and we make things — crafts and simple projects that send the lesson home with each child, literally and spiritually.

Worship, prayer and creativity

Every leader is DBS-checked and follows our safeguarding policy. Children are signed in and out by a parent or carer, and visitors are always welcome to stay and settle their child.

Families

Walking alongside parents

Raising children to know Jesus is a shared journey. We keep parents in the loop on what their child is learning, suggest simple ways to carry it into the week, and pray for our families through the year. If your child has additional needs, talk to us — we will do our best to make sure they can take part fully.
