Community Outreach is our love for Minety and the wider area put into action. Through practical care, seasonal projects and steady friendship, we want the people around us to know that they matter to God and to this church.
We believe the good news of Jesus is something to be seen as well as heard. That means practical help for people who are struggling, support for those who feel isolated, and partnership with local organisations, schools and charities who are already serving our community well.
We provide food and practical essentials for individuals and families going through a hard season, discreetly and without judgement.
Harvest, Christmas and other points in the year become opportunities to bless neighbours, care-home residents and families with gifts, meals and visits.
Loneliness is real in a rural community. Our team visits people who are housebound or isolated, offering company, a listening ear and prayer if it is wanted.
We work with village groups, schools and other churches rather than duplicating effort, adding our hands to what is already happening.
You do not need a particular skill to serve — just a willingness to show up. Whether you can cook, drive, visit, pack bags or pray, there is a way to join in. If you know someone who could use a hand, or you would like to help, get in touch with the church office.
